Beautifully crafted shoes. What a pleasure to have a fine Italian shoe! Top quality leather and exquisite craftsmanship. I wore this same SF style a long time ago and the shoes lasted for years, so I wanted another pair. They are very comfortable, and good for walking because of the low heel. They look great with either suit pants or skirts. The style with the almond-shaped toe and grosgrain bow is very flattering to the foot. The fit is a little loose, maybe due to the European sizing? If you want an American size 8, sometimes the Euro size converts to 7.5-8.0 but sometimes 8.0-8.5. I think this shoe is 8.0-8.5. The shoe does not slip off the back of my foot, but you can see a gap between my heel and the back of the shoe. I am experimenting with insoles to get a more snug fit. By the way, the color they call "Nero" is black.

I bought myself these shoes for my birthday because I've always wondered whether the expensive shoes are really worth the money. They're a classic style that I'll wear for years (assuming the heel doesn't stretch too far as most do). I like them, but I don't think they're worth the hype or the price.

I've wanted a pair of Ferragamo shoes for years. I finally gave in and bought the classic Vara low heel pump. I love everything about this shoe. It's so classy and beautiful. Even though it is sophisticated and elegant it can be worn dressy or casual. I also love Zappos.com and their customer service can't be beat. Fantastic company.

They are so cute and stylish! Love the color and the little cute bow. They are not the most comfortable shoes I have worn, but they are not bad. I like that the bow is made in leather instead of cloth, like other Ferragamo flats.

I have always loved Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, especially the VARA. I have over 10 pairs in different colors that s how comfortable they are for me, especially because I am not allowed to wear very high heels because of my back. Will recommend them anytime.

These shoes are comfortable and beautiful. They are very elegant and can be worn any time of the day or night, with skirts, pants and even classy jeans. I love them, and I will buy more colors. The light gray is a suede leather and not smooth. They are beautiful. They are so light in color that it's almost like men's bucks.

Ferragamo Vara. What can I say? My mom has these exact same shoes she bought in Italy in the 1970s. They never go out of style and are always right. Still the best.

This is a lovely well made shoe, very classy. However, I find that Ferragamo shoes run at least a half size too long and are generally too narrow. I usually wear a 6.5 B or C. I ordered a C width and the shoe was still too narrow and bulged at the bend. I'm going to try a size 6 D. I like the fact that returns are simplified.

Have worn this style for over 20 years! Sadly, not readily available in 11N or 11 1/2 AAA anymore in colors! Hope Zappos gets many more colours in these sizes! Comfortable walking and subway shoe yet beautiful for day and evening! Hope the company can get it's identity back and give up production of ugly platform stilettos!Need this functional workhorse shoe in narrow sizes above size 10!
