Very flattering on the foot. The proportions of this shoe are very nice. The platform does not look too heavy yet it reduces the effective height of the 4-inch heel by a half inch making the shoe easier to walk in. The fit of the shoe is standard for this brand so I ordered my regular size. A couple of things to note: (1) There is a new version of this shoe in the stores this year with a straighter-shaped slightly heavier heel than pictured here. I was shipped the older version with the set-under curvier heel. (2) The type of leather is not listed here but I was shipped black patent not black kid which is what the other stores with the new version are selling.
