Super cute flats, but absolutely horrible stitching in the heel area. First of all, I really wanted to like this pair because I'm planning to travel in these and didn't like the "my joy" flats style as much even though there were really good reviews on the comfort level. So I went to try these out in the Ferragamo store yesterday and they sure have disappointed me. These were made with super soft leather that mold to your feet, and lightweight too. The problem with this pair is the patent leather stitching in the heel of the shoes that are elastic and digs into your heel, you will notice the discomfort immediately after you put these on. I was quite disappointed and thought maybe it's a quality issue, so I went on to 3 other department stores to try on the same pair both in my usual size 5 as well as half a size up, all turned out to be the same level of discomfort in the heel area. I really really really wanted to get these, but unless I place a bandaid on my heel during my trip the entire time, I needed to stay away from these and stick with the "my joy" flats. And for this price, I didn't want any break-in time.
