Bought tons of cheaper tights and finally decided to splurge on a nice pair. I'm 5'3 and 150lbs and wore sm/md, they fit perfect (went a little past my waist but not a problem). I got the black and these aren't as opaque as I thought (not a problem for me but may be for someone else). I wash them by hand cause these are gentle and machine wash may cause to run. I love the quality of these and bought the chicklet tights afterwards and will continue to buy Kate Spade Tights.

Luxurious tights!\r\n\r\nThough expensive, these tights are worth every penny. Their construction and attention to detail far surpass the quality of lesser priced tights.\r\n\r\nNote: There is a subtle ribbing on these tights which is not apparent on the picture or in the description.

I am 5'1" and 100lbs. The rise was too short and the waist was too small. The seams cut into my stomach and back. I would not recommend these to anyone my size.

They look good, but ran the first time I wore them. This was the first pair of tights I've worn in years...I bought them to wear with work skirts, and really felt they were made not to run easily...Not so. I'm going to try another brand.

I'm 5'3 and 120 pounds and ordered up for my size. I couldn't pull them up to my waist and couldn't pull the legs up in the crotch. I pulled them off in the bathroom and trashed them at my son's wedding because they were falling down. Probably the worst purchase ever made.

I would not recommend buying these tights. For the name and their cost, you would think they would be good quality, but the first time I put them on, they ripped. Right in the calf area. Luckily, Zappos is awesome and replaced them with a different pair, but I didn't even get to wear them once.
Brands I'd also recommend: Replaced these tights with Cole Han Brand
