OK, they are plastic - They are the first plastic shoes I have owned and they are perfect for the resort! Have sparkle for the dress up on the beach and look great with shorts and skirts. Will be getting both colors.

I have the transparent color. its a simple fun shoe to wear, its a flexible material, even though its a jelly like material it does give it a classy look and the sling back part does stays in place.
