About Alejandro Ingelmo

Alejandro Ingelmo, a fourth generation shoe designer, was born and raised in Miami. He moved to New York in 2005 to study at Parsons School of Design. Ingelmo was originally enrolled in an interior design program, but he quickly switched gears to follow his calling as shoe designer. In the fall of 2006, Alejandro Ingelmo debuted his high-end, luxury shoe collection. The fashion world swiftly took notice.

It all began with Alejandro Ingelmo’s women’s shoe collection. Alejandro Ingelmo’s women’s footwear line has become an obsession of celebrities and shoe-crazed fashionistas worldwide. Fashion-forward and dramatic, Alejandro Ingelmo’s skyscraper heels beg to be worn. Alejandro Ingelmo even transforms basic ballet flats into spectacular accessories through the use of luxurious materials and eye-popping colors.

Not long after the successful debut of his women’s collection, Alejandro Ingelmo launched his collection for men. Alejandro Ingelmo’s men’s shoe line includes an impressive array of dress-casual styles. Ingelmo’s men’s collection is best known for its sneaker-inspired designs in mirrored leather and rich hues.

Alejandro Ingelmo’s design aesthetic combines classic lines and beautiful forms with the edge of modern materials and hardware. Alejandro Ingelmo integrates artisan techniques to each of his designs while utilizing the best skins and a unique personal vision.
