Native New Yorker Marc Jacobs began his design career in 1981 when he attended Parsons School of Design. On the evening that Marc Jacobs was showing his senior collection and receiving some of the school's highest honors, a fashion executive in the audience took immediate notice. The conversation that followed led to the creation of a partnership based on two very simple concepts: a love for fashion and a commitment to quality.
Two years later, Marc Jacobs ventured out and designed his first clothing collection bearing the Marc Jacobs label. In 1995, he launched his first full collection of men's ready-to-wear clothing. 2000 saw the launch of the first Marc Jacobs handbag collection.
In 2001, Marc Jacobs and his business partner, Robert Duffy, introduced their secondary collection, Marc by Marc Jacobs. It was established on the basis of providing a collection of comparatively affordable, edgy, and retro-inspired mass-market pieces. Since then, the collection has continued to grow exponentially to include Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes, Marc by Marc Jacobs handbags, Marc by Marc Jacobs jewelry, Marc by Marc Jacobs eyewear, Marc by Marc Jacobs hair accessories, and Marc by Marc Jacobs watches.
Each season, the Marc by Marc Jacobs collections are created with the aim of providing quality shoes, handbags, accessories, eyewear and watches with high fashion designs incorporating the signature quirkiness and unique sense of style that Marc by Marc Jacobs has come to be known for.

I've been wanting this bag for the longest time! So when I finally found a design that I really like, I immediately got one and haven't regretted it ever since. It's one of my go-to bags that I could easily use to carry for every day needs - and a bit more. My keys, phone, Kindle, and large cosmetic bag could easily fit along with the occasional bottle of water and camera that I carry for special occasions. The magnetic flap is an absolute plus for me. It's so easy to put in and take out things without the hassle of a zipper that I often forget to close. There are a couple of open pockets, and a zippered compartment in the inside to keep your mobile phone or small things handy. The shoulder strap seems very sturdy and since it's a bit thicker and wider than others, it feels easy to carry. The downside for me is that the shorter handbag strap isn't adjustable, but the stitching is pretty sturdy as well. The nylon material is a bit sleek and it's finer than other nylon bags I've previously owned (LeSportsac, Harajuku Lovers and Tokidoki). Since the material is finer, it feels a lot thinner and not as water repellent as the brands I previously used. The style looks great, whether the bag be full or empty. It doesn't lose its shape quite easily and I expect to wear it through the spring and summer. I would recommend this bag to whoever is considering to purchase it. A pretty and very practical bag that I would purchase again.

Wow! I can't say enough good things about this bag. Fashion meets function in a great way. I have carried this bag so frequently that I worried it would maybe fall apart. Not a chance. MJ bags are well-constructed and stand up to the test of wear. I purchased this style in two different colors, and I have even washed them gently (hand wash) and dried them on the countertop. They washed perfectly! You can fit so many items in this bag, and it is soft, so soft. The two handle configurations allow you to adjust the strap crossbody, or carry under your arm comfortably. Highly recommend!

I've gotten so many compliments on this bag and I've only had it for a few weeks! I absolutely love the color and design. I got the anemone multi, which is a bright pink. The strap is wide enough to be comfortable to wear it on my shoulder and I love that it has the second strap to convert it to a Crossbody. It's big enough to hold everything I need during the day, including my Kindle Fire.

I love this bag! It is comfy and not too big not too small...you can have just a phone and a wallet or you can have your baby's water and your kids' jacket. All goes... great buy!

Perfect everyday purse. Not too big and not too small. Two straps allow you to switch from over the shoulder to shoulder comfortably.
