I rarely write reviews, but because this bag had no reviews when I purchased it, I decided it needed one because who wants to buy a designer bag online without at least one review to consider? I wanted a relatively small / compact leather bag and decided on this style and the Cobble Hill Clarke and after deciding against the Ellen and Kristie, which are both small / compact but do not have detachable cross straps. I wanted clutch option, and the Ellen was too square-like for a clutch. This bag is just what I was hoping for as a clutch with the option of a cross strap, which I can carry in the separate compartment that zips open from the top of the bag and a very handy compartment for many things and a nice addition. The leather is so soft that as a clutch, the bag molds against my body, under my arm and into my hand and very comfortable. The bag is five-star in every way with regard to workmanship, style, elegance, and of great importance to me, color and the neutral, beautiful affogato hue is multi-seasonal and multi-attire, so I do not have to change bags often, if at all! A very low-profile, high-class color! My only two criticisms (a stretch to find any criticisms of substance) are 1) because the flap of the bag is also a zippered compartment, opening the bag and holding it with one hand while fishing with the other hand can be cumbersome; and 2) under the right conditions, the concealed magnetic clasp might not prevent things in the front compartment from spilling out; however, I filled my bag and turned it upside down and nothing fell out, so it would probably take some doing to jar everything out, but it could happen, especially with butter fingers like mine.
